Teen Finds Over $90,000 Cash In Purchased Package

A UK teenager who was trying to save a few dollars got more than he bargained for when he bought a PlayStation console on the auction website eBay. Not only did he receive the gaming system, his delivery included over $90,200 in cash (65,400 euros) to go with it.

Police are attempting to trace the person who sent the cash.

The parents of the teen, alerted police, who collected the money. A police spokesman said that the cash would be returned to its owner unless it was obtained illegally.

"There's obviously a concern about where the money came from. Our economic crime unit is trying to find out who sent it," said the spokesperson.

If the owner of the cash is not traced, a court hearing could be called to determine what to do with it.
