Town Trashes Its Own Building While Burning Trash
This has got the one of the most ironic stories. A trash fire started by township supervisors in Pennsylvania has burned down the town municipal building.
No one was injured in the blaze in Addison Township, about 130 kilometres southeast of Pittsburgh.
The building which, was used for meetings, elections and as a garage, was totally destroyed.
Supervisors left the trash fire unattended and officials say "it caught some material behind the building on fire."
A new township pickup truck with just 100 miles on its odometer was also destroyed. Fortunately, most of the township's plowing equipment and records were stored elsewhere.
