Car Crashes Into Man's Home For Tenth Time
A German man thinks it may be time to move after a vehicle ploughed into his house for the 10th time.
"If we stay, someone's eventually going to kill us. We're living in a time bomb," 59-year-old Manfred Sedlazek says.
Sedlazek is reluctant to leave the house he built himself, which is on a bend of a busy road, but said it may be his only chance if he wants to live.
The latest is a 40-tonne truck that blasted through the side of his red-brick house in northern Germany. Luckily Sedlazek wasn't home and returned to find the shattered vehicle sticking out of his living room. Police estimated the damage at about $140,000.
Nine previous smashes into the two-storey house Sedlazek lives in with his wife have wrecked his kitchen, bedroom and garden.
