Bank Robber Uses Own Check in Robbery
A man robbing a bank in Colorado demanded the money by writing a note on one of his own checks and giving it to the teller.
Not surprisingly, he was caught soon after the crime.
The 27-year-old evil genius, Forest Kelly Bissonnette, apparently tried to cover his name on the check, then handed the note to a teller at the 'Bank of the West' in Englewood.
"We could still make it out even though he blacked it out," FBI agent Rene VonderHaar said.
Nearly $5,000 was taken. The police simply had to verify the suspect was similar to Bissonnette's description.
He was arrested and remains in federal custody.
