Teacher Asks For Oral Sex To Give Girl An 'A' In Class

A Florida high school math teacher at Bartow High School was arrested this week for asking one of his students for oral sex act in exchange for getting an A in his class.

The 16-year-old girl told police she asked the 29-year-old teacher, Isaac Nathan Tillis, on Tuesday how she could improve her grade in his class, and suggested possibly by doing work for extra credit. Tillis told the girl he could assign 'extra work', but that she would need to "do something for him."

When she asked what he meant, he whispered that she could perform oral sex on him, and he repeated that suggestion a second time.

Apparently the girl didn't know what exactly that meant, so she talked to another person at school to find out.

Later that day, Tillis gave her a hall pass to use the bathroom. When she returned, he called her into the hall and asked if she had read the note on a piece of paper he gave her along with the pass.

He had written the same suggestion on the paper. She told him she didn't do "those kind of things" and left.

The next day, she got the same response when she asked again what she could do to help raise her grade, which is when she spoke to school staff who then called police. They decided to put a listening device on her and have her contact the teacher again. The bug then recorded the teacher telling her to meet him in his classroom after school ended, and they would 'discuss' how she could improve her grade.

When she went there, Tillis told her to follow him to the employee lounge in the cafeteria, and led her to a bathroom inside the teachers' lounge. Inside the bathroom, he lowered his pants and told her to get started.

The girl then said the setup code word and police came in to make the arrest.

The school says there was a complaint several years ago about the teacher's behavior, but it "proved unfounded at the time."
