Teacher Arrested For Sending Nude Pictures To Student

A high school teacher is facing charges of sending nude pictures of herself and sexually related text messages to a 14-year-old student's cell phone.

The 26-year-old teacher, Beth Ann Chester, worked at Moon High School in Pittsburgh. She has been been charged with three counts of sexual abuse for each of the pictures, and unlawful contact with a minor and criminal solicitation to name a few.

Police began investigating after School District officials reported that the teacher may have had in appropriate contact with a student.

She worked as a health and physical education teacher, but she it appears wanted to give the teen some hands on experience.

The boy's parents discovered sexually suggestive text messages on his cell phone. The boy told police he and Beth began exchanging text messages in late October, then devised a system to spend extra time with one another at school.

The boy told police he "felt he was in love with the teacher now."

She has been booked into the Allegheny County Jail on $50,000 bond.
