Woman Tries To Bribe Wisconsin Policeman With Sex
A woman from Michigan tried to get out of a drunken driving arrest by offering sex and $10,000 to a police officer.
According to the police report, witnesses told police that around 10 p.m. an intoxicated woman "stumbled into a vehicle" with vanity plates that read "TROUBLE" in a parking lot directly across the street from the police station.
A policeman saw Elizabeth Ann Kommes getting into the car and pulled her over shortly afterward.
When confronted, she admitted that she had been driving drunk. In the squad car she apparently pleaded with the officer that she not be arrested and even offered him $10,000 and sexual favors if he let her go.
Wisconsin Dells Police Chief Bret Anderson said that while drunken driving was not an uncommon offense in the popular Midwest water park vacation spot, the woman's offer was highly unusual.
The 30-year-old has been charged with drunken driving as a fifth offense, bribing a public official and driving with a revoked license.
