Police Ask Man With $10,000 Phone Sex Bill To Pay Up

Police in Germany have finally found the hotel guest who spent 27 hours calling a premium sex hotline but didn't pay his incredible $10,000 bill when he checked out.

The man, known as 22-year-old Anthony M, had also been wanted in Hannover since February, when he checked into a local hotel and there too 'forgot' to pay the bill upon leaving.

The Hannover hotel is still owed hundreds of euros.

But even though Anthony has finally been found by German police, he refuses to pay the bill.

"I did not keep track of time, it was like a movie. I just kept going," he says and his lawyer doesn't think it's his fault.

Anthony's lawyer Burkhard Benecken blames the hotel: "The hotel exhibited substantial negligence. If you do not limit guests from accessing high-cost sex hotlines, then you are being careless and should be responsible for any damages."
