Paris Hilton's Cell Phone Hacked

Paris Hilton's cell phone was hacked into over the last few days. After breaking into the phone, the hacker downloaded all the information on the T-Mobile Sidekick phone including phone numbers, e-mail addresses and personal notes.

This information was then posted by the hackers, a group called Niggas at DFNCTSC. Some of the celebrities to have their numbers and email addresses exposed were Eminem, Christina Aguilera, Lindsay Lohan, Ashlee Simpson, and Anna Kournikova.

The incident was another black eye for mobile carrier T-Mobile USA Inc., which suffered negative publicity last month after court documents revealed that a hacker had gained access to more than 400 of its customer accounts.

"T-Mobile's computer forensics and security team is actively investigating to determine how Ms. Hilton's information was obtained," the company said in a statement. "This includes the possibility that someone had access to one of Ms. Hilton's devices and/or knew her account password".

In an ironic twist, Hilton has appeared in commercials for the Sidekick II, which allows users to send e-mail and instant messages, browse the Web and snap pictures.

In an interview with US magazine, on newsstands Friday, Hilton says: "I feel horrible that, once again, someone has invaded my privacy. I want to apologize to all my friends and family. I don't know why this stuff always happens to me, but I wish it wouldn't anymore". Making reference to the other occasion her privacy was exposed with the sex tape.
