Pet Iguana Floods Apartment Block

A pet iguana in the southwest city of Stuttgart in Germany unknowingly turned on a tap while its owner was out of the apartment and flooded the entire apartment and damaging the ones below.

The iguana which measures nearly one metre (three feet) long turned on the tap while walking around with a swipe of its tail and the opened tap flowed for hours and tricked down as far as the basement of the building before neighbours realised and notified police.

The police broke into the apartment to take care of the problem and found the pet lying under a radiator.
