Woman Charged With Biting Off Man's Tongue

A northwest Ohio woman made sure she got the last word by biting off the man's tongue. The unlucky man, Chad Ringo, remained in intensive care at a local medical center.

Police arrested and charged Emily Mescher with felonious assault after Ringo was injured. However, she was freed on bail following a hearing.

They also added doctors were unsuccessful trying to reattach about 30 percent of the man's severed tongue.

The two had been involved in a relationship but weren't sure of the current status of that relationship and thought that a disagreement lead to the incident.
