Man Drinks Potion For Good Luck And Dies
Peru's government is now warning people to be wary of fake medicine men offering cure-all miracle herb potions after a bogus brew killed a man who was simply hoping to shake off a spell of bad luck. 
The man had hired hired a curer to improve his family's fortune after a recent string of bad luck but the prepared potion ended up having the effect of poisoning and killing him.
Alternative medicine is popular throughout the country, where newspapers are full of colorful ads from self-proclaimed "shamans" offering to improve anything from luck to their ability to attract a mate.
The Peru government has warned people after the incident saying the potions are untested and could kill or cause long-term illness.
