Man Plummets Fifty Feet To Grab Missing $20

A 47 year-old man was counting his money while walking across a bridge over the Manatee River in Florida when a $20 bill blew out of his hand and flew over the rail.

Mark Giorgio didn't think twice and figured the 50-foot fall was worth his $20. He followed the bill and plummeted 50 feet into the river.

Then he swam about 100 yards to fish the bill from the water.

"I got my money back, hell yeah," Giorgio told reporters. "Twenty bucks is a lot of money when you're broke."

He was spotted and fished from the water by a passing Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission officer.
