Burglar Decides To Rob Surveillance Shop

Yet another brilliant criminal � a burglar who thought that the the ideal shop to break into would be, of all things, a security camera store.

Police in Idaho made one of the easiest arrests they'll ever make, after the burglar's every move was filmed by over a dozen demonstration CCTV cameras in the surveillance store.

The footage showed Allen Darnell smashing the glass front door, then walking around the shop trying to steal computers that, unfortunately for him, were bolted down.

He noticed the fact that the store was filled with security cameras but that didn't stop him from going up to the cameras and staring straight into them to check whether they were working.

After realising that stealing the bolted down computers wasn't possible, Darnell made off with $250 from the cash register and simply hid in nearby bushes until the police arrived.

In fact, he hid so well that police saw spotted him in the bushes and ran after him. Following which he was arrested.

Boise Police spokeswoman Lynn Hightower was grateful for the burglar's stupidity. "Let's just say that it helped make the arrest a little easier", she said.
