Man Says He Is 'Pregnant', Needs Time Off
A South African man has been fined by a local court for taking time off from work by saying he was pregnant.
Even more impressive, he brought proof for his employer - a gynaecologist's certificate attesting he was pregnant and needed a week off.
Sadly, neither the employer, nor the court bought it.
A magistrate's court near Johannesburg fined the 27-year-old Charles Sibindana nearly $200 for the obvious lie and forgery.
It was found Sibindana stole the medical certificate from a health centre used by his pregnant girlfriend, but he was apparently unaware that only women consulted gynaecologists.
The court told Sibindana "not to walk around faking sick letters from gynaecologists".
