Man Tells Cops At Door: 'I'm Cooking Meth'

When cops knocked at his door, Herman Scott Swafford casually told them what he was doing.

"You know what's going on, I'm cooking meth", Swafford said.

The police report says officers smelled something strange and simply wanted to check what was going on inside.

And the quick search that followed has sent Swafford to jail as officers found a glass bottle and a hot plate with the heat turned on. The ingredients used to make meth were in the bottle and had been cooking about 45 minutes.
