Woman Tries To Use Her Dog's Name For Drugs
A Connecticut woman has been charged with trying to get painkillers from a drug store by using not hers, but her dog's name.
Thirty-eight year old Kymberly Smith now faces more than two dozen charges for her repeated attempts to obtain painkillers under her dog's name.
Police said used Zack, her dog's name, to get Vicodin. But this wasn't the first time, Smith was also arrested last year after she was caught calling in a fake prescription for the same drug.
Police say Smith is a veterinary technician for several veterinarians and began using their ID number to call in prescriptions for herself under the name "Zack Smith".
