Stolen GPS Devices Leads Straight To Thieves
Three thieves who stole 14 global positioning system devices didn't get away with their crime for long as the stolen devices led police right to their home.
Officials said the thieves didn't even know what they had and thought the GPS devices were cell phones, which they planned to sell.
According to police, the GPS devices were stolen from a town garage. The town immediately tapped its GPS system, and simply followed the location of one of the devices straight to a house.
And when they arrived there, they found the device in the hands of one of the thieves, Kurt Husfeldt.
Husfeldt, his 13-year-old son and another 20 year-old man were arrested and charged with criminal possession of stolen property.
