Husband Calls Emergency After Wife Refuses Sex

A frustrated husband called the emergency help line to report his wife was refusing to have sex with him.

He complained to the operator that he was being denied his "matrimonial rights" and needed an ambulance crew to come and "examine" her.

But, unfortunately for the man, the operator refused and told the man his "emergency" was not one they could help with.

A spokesman for the ambulance service said: "We get some inappropriate calls from people who think they need an ambulance and this comes pretty near the top of the list".
