Wife Feeds Dog Shit To Husband In 'Curry'

A disgruntled wife in the UK has admitted feeding her estranged husband a curry containing dog excrement after their relationship broke down.

And the 47-year-old woman, Jill Martin, has now pleaded guilty in court to reckless conduct against her husband Donald Martin.

The court heard that after placing the dinner in front of her husband Donald and watching him start to eat it, Martin burst out laughing. It turns out that she believed her husband was having an affair, although those fears turned out to be unfounded.

At first she claimed she had laced the dish with arsenic but then confessed she had added dog excrement instead.

The couple had been married for 21 years but in recent years their relationship "had hit an all time low".

Her lawyer claimed that she had endured "continued mental abuse" over a period of about five years which had taken its toll on her.

Following her arrest for the incident, she was banned from going anywhere near her husband or their home. And as you would expect, the couple have now begun divorce proceedings.

The defence solicitor Terry Gallanagh said the case was like "an episode of Desperate Housewives".
